SCOTT+SCOTT, ROBINS KAPLAN AND HAUSFELD REMIND RENTERS OF IMPORTANT DEADLINES IN $359.9 MILLION REALPAGE RENTAL SOFTWARE ANTITRUST LITIGATION SETTLEMENTS
Scott+Scott, Robins Kaplan, and Hausfeld have announced a proposed settlement totaling $359,925,000 in cash in In re: RealPage, Inc., Rental Software Antitrust Litigation, an MDL pending in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Tennessee (Case No. 3:23-MD-3071, MDL No. 3071). The settlement class includes all U.S. renters who paid rent on multifamily residential properties that used RealPage's Revenue Management Solutions, Lease Rent Options, YieldStar, or AI Revenue Management software between October 18, 2018 and November 21, 2025.
Plaintiffs alleged that defendants violated federal and state antitrust laws by conspiring to fix and inflate multifamily rental housing prices and exchanging competitively sensitive pricing information. The settling defendants deny all allegations and assert valid defenses; the court has made no determination on the merits. The settlement is subject to court approval and will be reduced by taxes, notice and administration costs, service awards, and attorneys' fees and expenses.
Settlement class members must submit claim forms by January 29, 2027 to participate in the distribution of the net settlement fund. Class members wishing to exclude themselves or object to the settlement must take action by September 1, 2026. Claim forms and settlement details are available at www.RealPageRentalSettlement.com.
