Mass Tort Ad Agency has released cost-per-signed-retainer benchmarks across four active mass tort campaigns, giving plaintiff firms a reference point for budgeting claimant acquisition on Meta platforms.

The figures are drawn from campaigns the agency has managed since 2015, representing more than $250 million in Meta ad spend across over 600 plaintiff law firms and more than 100 distinct tort campaigns.

Current cost per signed retainer, by tort:

Video game addiction: $350–$400
Social media addiction: $650
PFAS and contaminated water: $1,200–$1,800
Sexual abuse matters: $2,000–$3,000

The spread reflects differences in claimant eligibility screening, the size of the addressable audience on Meta, and how much documentation a qualified retainer requires. Torts with broad eligibility and light qualification screen cheaply. Matters requiring sensitive intake and detailed chain-of-custody documentation cost substantially more per signature.

The agency operates on a cost-plus model, charging a 15 percent management fee against actual Meta spend, with a one-time $1,000 setup fee per tort and intake billed at $100 per signed retainer. Firms retain ownership of the ad account, tracking pixel, creative assets, and claimant data. The agency does not broker or resell leads.

Intake is handled in-house through CloudIntake, the agency's claimant qualification system, which covers screening against custom qualification criteria, retainer e-signature, and chain-of-custody documentation. Screening specialists work bilingually.

Mass Tort Ad Agency was founded in 2015 as X Social Media LLC and rebranded in September 2025. It serves plaintiff firms across the United States and Canada.
